The war continues in Ukraine!

“Half a year ago, Russia declared war on us. On February 24, all of Ukraine heard explosions and shots. And on August 24, we should not have heard the words: “Happy Independence Day.” On February 24, we were told: “You have no chance.” On August 24, we say: with Happy Independence Day, Ukraine!”

– President of Ukraine
Volodymyr Zelenskyi

In the twenty-first century, in the middle of Europe, there is a brutal, bloody war, which was insidiously, unleashed by the Russian Federation against the state of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, ignoring all the principles of human morality and humanism.

Contrary to common sense, the enemy inflicts constant missile strikes and artillery fire on civilian infrastructure.
Many settlements in Ukraine have been severely damaged and partially or completely destroyed.

WORLD LEADERS ABOUT THE WAR IN UKRAINE

The UN has reported how many Ukrainians
have left their homes as a result of the russian invasion

Hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian families have been left without a roof over their heads and basic means of subsistence.     Became IDPs, refugees, victims of hostilities. And this is mostly children, women and the elderly.
Such people need constant support, care and assistance!

In the 100 days of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, nearly 14 million Ukrainians have been forced to flee their homes.

This is stated in a statement by Assistant Secretary General and UN Coordinator for Crisis Situations in Ukraine Amin Awad, – UNN reports.
“Families and communities have been destroyed and deprived of their roots. In just over three months, almost 14 million Ukrainians have been forced to flee their homes, most of them women and children – the scale and speed of movement is unprecedented,” – Avada said in a statement.

According to the UN, more than 3 million Ukrainian children have been forced to drop out of school due to hostilities.
Hundreds of thousands of people across the country do not have access to water and electricity, and millions do not know where to get food next time.
“Currently, 15.7 million people need humanitarian aid, and their number is growing,” the UN said.
